Come one, come all, and share your beauty truths.
Sephora, the multinational beauty retailer, asked me to be a creative lead for the launch of its first-ever influencer program. The year-long paid partnership and mentorship required a name that would instantly attract diverse digital creators hungry to share their point of view. It also needed to stand out in the rapidly growing beauty influencer space with a different purpose: to welcome, champion, and amplify all beauty creators regardless of follower count. Anyone could apply to share their beauty truths.
I collaborated with the Design team to position the program as a content creation community where authenticity is fostered, creativity is limitless, and bonds are built to last. I named it #SephoraSquad.
The 2019 launch resulted in a viral response of over 20,000 applicants vying for 25 spots. We pitched a launch party concept that would live up to the hype: an immersive beauty experience primed for selfies.
My work set the tone for what the program is today: the most sought-after beauty opportunity around the globe. There are now #SephoraSquads in the US and Middle East.

We celebrate the most authentic and inspiring voices in the digital beauty space. We value unique, unfiltered, sorry-not-sorry storytellers, no matter the number of followers they have. That’s why the program offers long-term partnerships — a year-long paid contract with Sephora — to those who share their beauty truths.
Ones who shout their triumphs and their struggles.
